My husband Dave and I have been renovatin like crazy the last few weeks. A huge part of the transforming of our little space was the new floor from Carpet Bonanza! Check out how far laminate flooring has come, and how “easy” it is to install yourself (well, having a talented husband and knowledgeable friends certainly helps!)

A project I am really proud of is taking these bookshelves my Grandpa made for my Moms college dorm room, adding crown moulding and a new top, and see what happens next! You can see I like color, right? Didn’t they turn out great!

I love the redo. It looks wonderful. I was wondering if you could tell me he paint color of the walls and chairs. We are looking to repaint our kitchen and love That color. Thanks
I will look into the paint colors. I need to see if they have them in the computer at Repco Lite. I use the new Benjamin Moore line Aura and I love it! Worth every extra dime, in my opinion. Also, yes we took OUT a fireplace. Seems weird, but it actually brings more light into the space and “squares” up the room for easier furniture placement. I’m getting a sectional couch in this week, which will make more sense when you see it. More pictures this week.
what brand laminate floor? and what thickness? we are looking to install laminate flooring on main level, but the last time we installed laminate flooring it was really hard to work with so we are looking for a better brand.

Looks great Ceci – you are very brave with your colors and it looks GREAT! Good luck selling the home. We’ve had ours on the market for over a YEAR now and it gets discouraging! Chin up…it will happen….
