Favorite Project

Living Room Project

Homemade Laundry Soap

Hanging the TV

This is my new favorite project that I just had to show off.  I wanted to hang our flat screen TV on the wall for a while now, but as you can see, the TV is all of 19 inches!  It’s weird, I wanted to give it more “weight” in the room, but also wanted it to “go away” a bit too, so it didn’t look like the tv is the focus of our living room.  I had an idea to frame it, but...

stop watching HGTV?

I have another hairbrained idea. I want to create a funky (lime green with brown glaze wash) frame for my flat screen tv. (keep in mind that the flat-screen in question is all of 19″) Yesterday I took my piece of MDF to a lumber yard for a quote on how much it would be to have them use crown moulding to frame out the MDF.
